We shucked crawfish at the Shell Shack in Dallas. Well, Megan and I did, and we had oysters too. Charity had soup and shrimp, which looked pretty good. All in all, it was a satisfying dinner. Also, I understand why the bibs are needed. I should have used a bib.
Despite some winning characters, the book derails at the end by forcing a love story between the main character and a mysterious, sexy astrologer. This may be one of the few books where all book club members could agree about what went right and what went wrong in the book. Charity did, of course, hate Molly Murphy, but other than that, we could all say the stories were interesting despite the end.
